Q: How do I book an appointment?
You can fill out the booking form on our website. We’ll confirm your time and price within 24 hours by text or email.
Q: How long does a grooming session take?
Most sessions take between 60–90 minutes, depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament.
Q: Do you need to use my water or power?
No — our van is fully equipped with clean water tanks and quiet EcoFlow power systems.
Q: What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Kingwood, TX and surrounding neighborhoods. No travel fee within Kingwood.
Q: How often should my dog be groomed?
For most breeds, every 4–8 weeks helps maintain coat health and comfort.
Q: Do you groom anxious or senior dogs?
Yes. We take extra time, use low noise tools, and always prioritize safety over speed.
Our Policies
Health & Safety:
If your dog shows signs of illness, severe matting, or skin irritation, we may pause service and recommend a vet visit before continuing.
Matting Policy:
We only de-mat safely and humanely. If brushing would cause pain, we’ll recommend a short, even trim instead.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment are free. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a rescheduling fee.
Payment:
We accept card, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Sales tax may apply if required by state.
Behavior:
If a dog becomes highly anxious or aggressive, we may stop the session for their safety. You will only be charged for the portion completed.
Vaccination Requirements
To ensure a safe and healthy grooming environment for all pets, Villa Pup Blu requires that all dogs are current on the following vaccinations:
• Rabies
• Distemper / Parvo (DHPP)
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
We kindly ask all clients to confirm that their dog is up to date before booking a grooming appointment.
If your dog is not vaccinated or you are unsure of their status, please let us know in advance. For the safety of all pets, we may not be able to provide service to dogs without current vaccinations.
